In order to prepare for a future stage of my SCUMM mock-up, I decided to convert a few sprites for Guybrush Threepwood.
Each frame takes 6 sprites, overlaid in a given sequence. As there are not 6 sprites on any given raster line, the result is quite good, allowing a number of characters to populate the screen.
Just to make it clear, I have no plans to code MI2 for the C64.
Mine is an offer to assist those who might be interested in a conversion to the C64.
I did some discovery work to prove that it is feasible, but I don’t plan to do a conversion entirely on my own
